German guitarist Thomas Blug, will be visiting the UK at the end of this month to give a series of in-store talks and live performances demonstrating the BluGuitar Amp1.
Kicking off in Glasgow, Scotland, he will visit dealers in York, Sheffield, Norwich, Lowestoft, Brighton and Exeter, demonstrating the revolutionary Amp1 system and its growing family of accessories, sold in the UK through JHS.
Consisting of the pedal-sized, 100 watt, Nanotube powered four channel guitar amp, Amp1 can now be matched up with its two new compact speaker options – Nanocab, the ultra-compact 1×12” guitar cabinet, and Fatcab – a 1×12 designed to sound like a 4×12.
Amp1 can also now be accessed via the Remote 1 programmable pedal controller that can directly access all the functionality of Amp1 via nine switches and organised in four banks with nine presets each. With the built in MIDI-out guitar players also can switch programs of external MIDI-FX-devices simultaneously
Meanwhile the Looper Kit provides four true bypass relay loops to program pedals with Remote 1. The four loops can be individually assigned to each Remote 1 preset, whilst MIDI1 makes Amp1 Midi controllable with any MIDI foot controller.
Blug commented: “Amp1 is not only the most compact valve amp, it can be scaled to your needs from puristic, straight forward tone, up to a fully programmable, midi-enabled system with almost endless options!”.
In addition to his store appearances, Thomas will also give a couple of evening live performances with full band, at The Bull & Fairhouse in Wakefield on Tuesday 29th September and at The Lady of the Lake in Oulton Broad, Lowestoft – the latter in conjunction with Listers Guitars as a support slot to Heavy Metal legends Oliver/Dawson Saxon.
The six day tour will culminate in an appearance at The Mansons Guitar Show, Corn Exchange, Exeter on Saturday 2nd October.
