Waves Audio Appoints Vera as Spanish Latin America Sales Manager

Waves Audio has appointed Aquiles Vera as Spanish Latin America Sales Manager, further developing Waves’ live sound distribution channel.

Vera began his career 25 years ago in TV as a film sound designer and in audio post-production, where he gathered vast experience crossing over from studio recordings to live mixing and an array of pro audio undertakings in between. For the last 15 years, he held the position of Latin America Sales Audio Manager for Avid Technology, overseeing the distribution channel and the customer post-sales relationship.

Vera comments, “I am a musician, post-producer and sound engineer, and a committed technology enthusiast. I am honored to be invited to be part of the Waves family, with the objective of developing the live sound distribution channel in Latin America. My principal target is strengthening the presence of the company, improving the personalized attention toward our customers and ensuring a solid distribution channel while expanding Wave’s excellent post-sales support in every Spanish-speaking Latin territory. Specifically, I am looking forward to bringing Waves’ innovative eMotion LV1 Live mixing console and its technology to live sound engineers in these territories.”
