The new products will be revealed at the Yamaha booth (#300DE) on the third floor of the Anaheim Convention Center.

New Pacifica® Professional and Standard Plus Guitars

Crafted in Japan by master luthiers, the all-new Pacifica Professional and Standard Plus guitars feature ReflectoneTM pickups, developed in partnership with Rupert Neve Designs, a 5-position selector, and coil-split capabilities that offer extraordinary tonal versatility. The four new instruments include the Pacifica Professional PACP12 (rosewood fingerboard), PACP12M (maple fingerboard), Pacifica Standard Plus PACS+12 (rosewood fingerboard), and PACS+12M (maple fingerboard).

New P-525 Portable Piano

The flagship model in the P-Series, the P-525, offers an authentic grand-piano feel and exquisite sound. Thanks to its range of features and smooth playability, the P-525 is perfectly suited for all levels of players, from beginners to pros. It features the playable GrandTouch-S keyboard – included in Yamaha top-of-the-line Clavinova digital pianos – which recreates the experience of a grand piano. The keyboard simulates the subtle differences in how hard, quickly, and heavily the keys are played while producing a grand piano-like variety and richness of tone.

New Yamaha 62 Series and Custom Z Saxophones Finishes

New finishes for the Yamaha 62 Series and Custom Z saxophones are now available. The finishes are designed to be as unique and special as the person playing it, combining a vintage aesthetic with high-quality performance. The YAS-62III alto and YTS-62III tenor models will now be available in unlacquered finishes, along with the gold lacquer and silver-plated finishes already offered. Both, along with the Custom YAS-82ZII alto and YTS-82ZII tenor models (already offered in gold lacquer, black lacquer, silver-plated and unlacquered finishes), will also be available in a stunning amber lacquer finish that adds a touch of vintage charm, with hand engraving that provides a striking contrast against the original brass color.

New Drum Hardware

Introducing the new Yamaha drum hardware series: the HHS9D double-legged hi-hat stand, LC9 quick clutch, and CWHSAT9 multi-use clamp. The highly anticipated HHS9D has joined its older brother, the FP-9 Foot Pedal Series, to provide unmatched responsiveness and expressive control for drummers of any genre. In addition to its use in the HHS9D double-legged hi-hat stand, the LC9 quick clutch is also available for purchase as an accessory. Hi-Hat setup and adjustments have never been more straightforward, thanks to the LC9’s innovative upper double lock nut and lower twist-to-set clutch nut. The versatile CWHSAT9 multi-use clamp may be attached onto a bass drum hoop for use with a cowbell, used to hold a boom arm for cymbal stands, or connected to the HHS9D hi-hat stand for quick accessibility.

New Rydeen Finishes

The RYDEEN 5-piece shell pack is now available in five stunning new finishes: Turquoise Glitter (TQG), Champagne Glitter (CPG), Orange Glitter (ORG), Sky Blue (SKB), and Gloss Pale Blue (GPU).

New Tour Custom Acoustic Drum Shells

Infamously versatile, easy to tune, and highly durable, Tour Custom acoustic drums have met and exceeded the demands of working drummers and studio backline companies worldwide. With the expansion of the Tour Custom drum lineup, players can customize their drum set as desired by adding new bass drums, tom toms and floor toms in various sizes.

New Natural Forest Marching Drums

A beautiful Natural Forest color joins the four standard finish options (Black, Blue, Red Forest stain finishes and white wrap) for all Yamaha marching snare, tenor, and bass drums. Differing from the Natural Gloss custom lacquer finish, Natural Forest is matte in appearance.

YCH-6118 & YCH-7118 Chimes

The new YCH Series chimes feature a redesigned hangar assembly for improved sound quality and playability while commanding attention on any stage. The series continues to build off of the extraordinary playability of their predecessors with a reimagined harp design for improved tonality and ease of use. Both models include a cover and (2) YCHM-38P mallets.

Seqtrak Mobile Music Ideastation

An all-in-one, music creation station, the SEQTRAK is designed for composing and performing electronic music from anywhere. The compact music station allows users to capture ideas quickly, create original music using its versatile sound and sample engines and connect with fans using its powerful performance features and streamlined connectivity.

Montage M Synthesizer

The Montage M flagship synthesizer combines next-level amazing sound, new control dimensions for dynamic expression and seamless workflow integration between stage and studio. The full product lineup includes the 61-key MONTAGE M6 for synthesists, 76-key MONTAGE M7 for keyboardists, and 88-key with polyphonic aftertouch MONTAGE M8x for pianists. Uniquely crafted to provide highly realistic, imitative and creative sound, MONTAGE M features a new AN-X Analog Engine and improved AWM2 Engine that, combined with the FM-X Engine, give a total of 400 notes total polyphony.

Genos2

This next-generation arranger workstation delivers legendary Yamaha sounds combined with the highest cutting-edge technology to transform solo players into the ultimate cover band. Unique to Genos2, passionate DIY musicians can experience the magic of its Real Ambient Drums and AI Chord Mode, bringing a new musical dimension to playing.

HS Series | HS3 and HS4 Speakers

The new two-way bass reflex powered studio monitors feature a premium, compact design that deliver faithful sound reproduction for passionate professionals and audiophiles who require a small, lightweight footprint. The speakers also maintain clear, transparent acoustical versatility to meet the needs of a creator’s next project.

FGDP-30 and FGDP-50 Finger Drum Pads

Engineered to be played anywhere, at any time, the FGDP Series comes in a lightweight package equipped with high-quality preset sounds and a long-lasting battery for easy, fun music-making on the go. The finger drums feature a unique, streamlined pad layout for ease of use, in addition to a velocity switch and polyphonic aftertouch sensor allowing players to incorporate dynamic drumming techniques such as ghost notes and high-speed rolls into any performance.

DM7 Series

The DM7 series is an innovative digital mixer lineup that not only guarantees unparalleled sound quality, ease of operation, and high reliability to connect engineers, artists, and audiences, but is also highly scalable and flexible enough to adapt according to application. A DM7 setup can take on a variety of configurations depending on the engineer’s preferences and can support a wide range of sonic environments.

Prince Purple Piano

Yamaha will debut (for the first time in public) an iconic piano customized for Prince for his Piano & a Microphone solo tour. Normally housed at Paisley Park, the one-of-one piano will be on display in the Yamah booth lobby throughout NAMM.

Prince Iconic Wardrobe

Next to the piano, a mannequin display case will house a special wardrobe piece from Prince’s personal collection. The purple 2-piece ensemble was custom-created by Arturo Padilla and features aspects of Prince’s band 3RDEYEGIRL. It will be displayed with white light-up wedge sneakers that were custom-created by Andre #1.
