Yorkville Sound has unveiled the YSM Series II Studio Monitors. The first of the series is the YSM5-2, 50 w, 5-inch powered studio monitor.
The YSM Series II monitors are a completely new design, with a tapered front baffle, and an updated DSP system. “Extensive tests against some of the best old and new studio monitors show that the sound is not only unrivaled in its class, but potentially beyond speakers well above its price point,” says Jeff Cowling, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Yorkville Sound.
Now built with the fiber-reinforced drivers, the YSM Series II monitors are designed to deliver a powerful low-end and clean mid-range. The tweeter and woofer are perfectly time aligned to ensure that there are no phase irregularities.
“YSM Series II is a cumulation of Yorkville Sound’s technical knowledge and expertise,” says Cowling. “The monitors are at home in professional and project studios, and will deliver uncompromising clarity which your songs demand.”
The YSM5-2 50w, 5-inch monitor is available now. The series will grow with the YSM6-2 and the YSM8-2 coming soon.
