Zoom Corporation (Jasdaq 6694.T), Japan, has announced the addition of the Live-Trak L-12 to their collaboration with Avid Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq AVID), the maker of Pro Tools.  Zoom, the company known for high quality portable digital recording hardware, is teaming with Avid, to offer Avid Pro Tools | First with a valuable collection of additional software. Pro Tools | First is a streamlined and free version of Pro Tools, the industry standard DAW audio professionals use in recording studios.

This offer is available when purchasing the Zoom LiveTrak L-12 Digital Mixer + Recorder or Zoom’s Handy Audio Interfaces (U-44, U-24, U-22).  After purchase, creators can go to avid.com/zoom and register to download the latest version of Pro Tools | First together with a valuable collection of audio software.
