Japanese music technology manufacturer Zoom Corporation is now listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The company was founded in 1983 in Tokyo, Akihabara district. In the beginning it worked as a third party developer for other brands. In 1990, it launched its first self-developed and protected DSP technology. This led to its breakthrough product: the 9002 multi-effect processor for the guitar.
