This past Make Music Day (June 21), Vic Firth gave away hundreds of pairs of drumsticks and sponsored drumming workshops in plazas and parks all over the country.
Participants ranged from kids to adults and professionals to amateurs, and the lessons themselves included both structured classes and free-flowing bucket drumming circles.
