Hal Leonard Sponsors Walrus Audio Day at Cream City Music Store

On August 14^th Hal Leonard helped organize and host Tone Check Live: Walrus Audio Clinic at the world-renowned Cream City Music Store in Brookfield, Wisconsin, featuring a Q&A session, presentation on Walrus Audio products, and the debut of a brand-new pedal designed with indie rocker Ryan Adams.

Guitarists and Cream City fans alike were treated to a meet and greet with the builders of Walrus Audio pedals and products, and given a pedal demo featuring the new Defcon4, Walrus Audio’s newest guitar pedal designed by famed rocker Ryan Adams. Lead Engineer for Walrus, Jason Stulce, gave fans deep insight to the creation and design process of the Defcon4 and other Walrus Audio pedals, giving those in attendance the rare opportunity to learn directly from a product designer and understand the creative process of products like these.

Hal Leonard is working with dealers all across the country to produce in-store events like this. These various events explore current music industry trends and topics and gives fans the opportunity to find out more about the products and companies that they know and love. Upcoming Hal Leonard event opportunities include “Getting Great Drum Sounds in the Studio” at Apogee Studios in Santa Monica, CA and featuring Bob Clearmountain and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith on October 9, and a conversation with famed engineer/producer Dave Pensado for the release of his new book, Recording Vocals, at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA on October 10.
