ADJ Enters A New Era With Encore Lime Par Series of IP65-Rated LED Wash Fixtures

The new Encore Lime Par Series of IP65-rated LED wash fixtures from ADJ feature quad color (RGB + lime) LEDs that offer sensational brightness with a very high CRI. Designed for a life on the road, these robust fixtures are IP-rated and therefore ideal for concert, theatre, and event productions, both in and outdoors.

Three models are available: Encore LP7IP, Encore LP12IP and Encore LP18IP, with 7, 12 and 18 LEDs respectively. Each LED is rated at 20-Watts and combined in multiples they generate a potent output with an even, soft-edged beam. Through precise dimming control over the four primary LED colors – red, green, blue and lime – the fixtures are able to generate a large gamut of colors and hues. The inclusion of the lime LED chip helps certain colors to appear more vivid and also boosts the CRI to an impress 86.2.

In addition to full RGBL color mixing control, the fixtures feature 64 built-in color macros, 5 preset white color temperatures and linear color temperature control (between 2700K and 6500K) to aid with quick setup and programming. They also offer adjustable refresh rate (14 presets between 900 and 25,000Hz) for flicker free operation when used for video recording and broadcast as well as 6 selectable dimming modes (Standard, Stage, TV, Architectural, Theatre & Stage 2) and 4 selectable dimming curves (Linear, Square, Inverse Square & S-Curve).

All of the Encore Lime Par Series fixtures offer a concise 10-degree native beam angle, which allows for a punchy output of vibrant color. However, each unit is also supplied with a 25-degree frost filter, which clips neatly and locks securely over the LEDs, allowing the beam angle to be easily enlarged for applications where a wider wash of light is required. In addition, a comprehensive collection of additional lenses is also available for each model as optional accessories. 20, 60 and 100-degree frost filters are available, as well as two LSF (Light Shaping Filter) options: 30×60-degrees and 1×40-degrees. Dedicated barn door accessories are also available for all three models, which attach conveniently and securely to the front.

Featuring IP65-rated enclosures, the Encore Lime Pars are specifically designed for temporary outdoor use. Their sealed design means that their LEDs and internal electronics are safely protected from liquid, dust, and moisture. This not only makes them ideal for use on outdoor stages and for outdoor event illumination, but also for use indoors, with protection from split drinks, dust/debris, and smoke/haze residue. All three models feature tough aluminum construction with a durable black powder coated finish and tempered glass covering the LEDs. They are supplied with heavy duty dual yokes, which lock securely into place on both sides with substantial bar handles and can be used either as floor stands or hanging brackets.

Large heat sinks allow the noise created by the fixtures’ cooling fans to be kept to a minimum, while a Quiet Fan mode reduces this even further for theatrical applications which demand near silent operation. Despite their robust all metal construction, these pars are easily transportable, with weights ranging from 7.5 lbs. / 3.45 kg. [LP7IP] to 16 lbs. / 7.15 kg. [LP18IP]. They also have compact dimensions, measuring: 8.65” x 6.5” x 9.5” (L x W x H) / 220 x 160 x 242mm [LP7IP], 10.5” x 8” x 11” / 262 x 200 x 274mm [LP12IP] and 11.85” x 9.25” x 11.5” / 300 x 234 x 289mm [LP18IP].

“The Encore Lime Par Series expands both ADJ’s Encore range of stage lighting fixtures and our portfolio of ‘all weather’ IP-rated equipment,” comments ADJ USA’s National Sales Manager, Alfred Gonzales. “Complementing the existing IP65 LED pars in our catalog, these new fixtures offer exceptional output and high CRI, which makes them ideal for illuminating stages. Their tight 10-degree beam angle is perfect for long throw applications, while the included diffusion filter and range of additional beam shaping accessories make them truly versatile lighting tools.”

The Encore Lime Par Series builds on the success of ADJ’s existing line of HEX IP wash fixtures, which has been in the market for four years. These best-selling IP65-rated LED pars featuring RGBWA+UV LEDs have proven extremely reliable when used in the toughest of conditions and have become exceptionally popular with rental houses and production companies alike. The addition of the Encore Lime Par Series alongside the current HEX IP series provides lighting professionals two complementary options for their color washing needs, both with the same versatile and hardwearing IP65-rated enclosure design.

The Encore Lime Par Series is available now from both ADJ USA and ADJ Europe.
