American Music & Sound (AM&S), a premier distributor of professional audio equipment, expanded their presence at InfoComm 2024. The Exertis | JAM business showcased renowned brands in the industry including Allen & Heath, BASSBOSS, Ocean Way Audio’s AeroWave ® System, CAD Audio, and Lake People. Ashly Audio, also an Exertis | JAM business, presented in conjunction with AM&S in a redesigned interactive booth area.

Allen & Heath proudly unveiled the highly anticipated dLive V2.0 update for their flagship dLive mixing platform. This update brings enhanced features, improved performance, and streamlined workflows for live sound engineers. Allen & Heath also released a new RackUltra FX card for dLive, combining the company’s renowned FPGA technology with ARM processing and opening up dLive to the next generation of onboard processing and effects like Vocal Processing, Reverbs, Distortion & Saturation, and intelligent Harmonisers. Attendees were impressed by its intuitive interface and powerful capabilities.

Samantha Potter, Installation and Commercial Audio Manager for Allen & Heath, led several engaging training classes focused on Allen & Heath installation products. Attendees participated in sessions covering system design, network optimisation, and certification in Allen and Heath’s 96kHz AHM digital audio matrix series.

During the event, Allen & Heath USA recognised their outstanding sales representatives. John B. Anthony received the prestigious ‘Rep of the Year’ award for their exceptional dedication and contributions to the industry. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and product knowledge set a high standard for others. Numerous sales firms were honoured with outstanding sales performance while individual sales reps received the company’s ‘Bulldog’ sales awards, Inside Sales and Marketing Excellence awards.

Ocean Way Audio showcased their AeroWave AW9045 True Stereo Speaker designed for large venues. This system is part of Ocean Way Audio’s entry into the live sound market, featuring an entirely horn-loaded point-source loudspeaker system with accurate and wide-band directivity control.

Ashly Audio celebrated their 50th anniversary at InfoComm 2024. The company marked this milestone by launching two groundbreaking products—the AQM408 digital matrix processor and the EcoTour line of power amplifiers.

BASSBOSS, renowned for their high-performance loudspeaker systems, made their InfoComm debut. Attendees of the ‘Demo-litions’ got a firsthand experience of the newly developed ControlBASS software. This new tool allows users to remotely monitor and control loudspeaker groups, update to the latest firmware, and fine-tune audio configurations with 100 preset options.

CAD Audio and Lake People, both part of the AM&S family of distributed brands, showcased their latest offerings. CAD Audio highlighted its versatile microphones and wireless systems, while Lake People presented premium headphone amplifiers and audio accessories.

Visitors also experienced audio excellence with the new Fostex T50RPmk4 headphones, a closed-back reference with precise sound reproduction, while ADAM Audio SP-5 headphones provided a studio-grade listening experience for the interactive dLive V2.0 listening stations.

“InfoComm is always a highlight of the year for AM&S,” noted Jeff Hawley, Allen & Heath USA / American Music & Sound Director of Marketing. “It was wonderful to witness the positive vibes and energy from customers across the board. Whether they were integrators seeking out audio control options, live sound engineers checking out dLive V2.0, venues looking to upgrade their sound system, or simply folks who love playing with the latest technology—a good time was had by all.”
