In this role, Vaughn will lead the company’s product development strategy, overseeing every stage of the product lifecycle across Samson and its distributed brands.
Vaughn joins Samson following a distinguished career in professional audio and music. Most recently, he served as Associate Director of Product Management for a global manufacturer of professional audio equipment. During his tenure, he led end-to-end product development initiatives across high-revenue categories, driving product vision, roadmap strategy, and go-to-market execution for live sound, studio, and content creation solutions.
In his new position, Vaughn will focus on shaping the next generation of Samson products—defining long-term strategy, accelerating innovation, and delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of musicians, creators, and audio professionals worldwide. His experience uniquely combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic product leadership, enabling him to translate real-world user needs into innovative, commercially successful products.
Vaughn is deeply connected to the music community, with an extensive background in live production, studio work, and performance as both a drummer and DJ. This blend of technical skill and creative experience reinforces Samson’s commitment to developing products built by and for the professionals who use them.
