SONOR Drums proudly announces the addition of acclaimed drummer and percussionist Victor “Big Vic” Alexander to its growing roster of artists. Born in Atlanta, GA, Alexander is a globally respected musician whose career spans more than three decades across an extraordinary range of genres, including R&B, Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz, Soul, Gospel, Rock, Pop, Blues, Country, Afrobeats, Reggae, and Punk.
Alexander’s resume includes work with some of the most influential artists in modern music such as OutKast, Usher, Toni Braxton, TLC, Erykah Badu, Luther Vandross, Regina Bell, Tony Rich, Sleepy Brown, and Terrance Blanchard, among many others. His dynamic playing and musicality has earned him features in Modern Drummer, The Source, and additional leading publications, as well as an impressive tally of 13 Platinum records, 12 Gold records, and six GRAMMY Awards. Most notably, Alexander’s work as master drummer for OutKast culminated in the group’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2025.
