Lee’s Music is transitioning its retail music store division to new ownership. The Miltimore family officially announced the change after more than five decades of serving musicians, students, performers and the community of Kamloops.

While the retail division transitions, the family will continue to actively grow and operate the Audio Visual, manufacturing and production divisions of the company. The public and media are invited to attend a special announcement event to hear the full story behind the transition.

The event takes place at 11 a.m. May 15 at 249 Tranquille Road, Kamloops, British Columbia. Guests will meet the new owners of the retail music store and learn about the future vision for both businesses.

After 51 years in business, the legacy of inspiring musicians through lessons, instruments, friendships and community continues. A new generation brings fresh energy to the retail music store. Lee’s Music AV will continue operating under the leadership of Lee and Mike Miltimore.

The company focuses on Audio Visual Rentals and Installations, Concerts and Event Production, Video Wall Manufacturing, and Custom Guitar Manufacturing through Riversong Guitars. Operations will expand from Kamloops and Sicamous, British Columbia.

This is both a celebration of the past and an exciting launch into the future, Mike Miltimore said. The music store legacy continues with incredible new ownership, while our AV and manufacturing divisions are stronger and more focused than ever.

Community members, customers, musicians, suppliers and friends are warmly invited to attend.
