Ashdown Engineering & Meters Music, world-class manufacturers of bass and guitar amplifiers & consumer electronics, announces the appointment of Yorkville Sound as exclusive Canadian distributor. The appointment comes after discussing the need to ‘expand our dealer reach within Canada’. Positioned well within the Canadian market ‘the support that they will be able to offer our customers will see Ashdown & Meters supported in the market like never before’.

‘We are very excited as to the future of Ashdown & Meters in Canada with a focus on our core offering as well as making our UK custom shop products available to a wider audience’.

In addition to the design, manufacturing and distribution of its own brands, Yorkville Sound also has a very active resale distribution division. In Canada, Yorkville Sound is the exclusive distributor for Gibson & Epiphone Guitars, a relationship that dates back to the 1980s.

The full exclusive Canadian Distribution catalogue covers a spectrum of world class music brands including: Gold Tone, Samson Audio & Wireless, Hartke, Mapex Drums, Dynaudio, Leho Ukuleles, Link Audio, Los Cabos Drumsticks, LR Baggs, Ernie Ball Strings, Rotosound Strings, Snark Tuners, TrueTone Pedals, GrooveTech CruzTools, Kluson, Kramer and Steinberger Guitars, The Rockslide, KRK Monitors, as well as Gallien-Krueger Amplifiers.

‘We are excited at the opportunity’s Yorkville will bring to the table with the need for planning and structure we know they will do a great job, having worked with several of their team in the past we believe we have found a long-term partner who will see us represented in Canada the way the brand deserves’ – Dan Gooday

Talking on behalf of Yorkville sound Jeremy Berger has said “We are excited to partner with team from Ashdown & Meters to bring these products to the Canadian market.  They have the complete product line from entry level to professional and their world class artist roster is second to none.  We are looking forward to growing with them across the country”

The rest of 2021 will see a range of exciting product releases from Ashdown & Meters, offering high-quality headphones, bass guitars, amplifiers, bass cabinets, pedals and so much more – as well as plan for what will be a monumental year in 2022, with Ashdown celebrating its 25th anniversary.
