CAD Audio, with a legacy spanning over 90 years, is a distinguished name in the audio industry. They excel in delivering innovative and practical solutions tailored for a diverse array of audio professionals, including performers and engineers. Over the years, CAD Audio has grown into a multifaceted company, featuring various sub-brands and product lines spanning Recording, Broadcast, Live Performance & Production, Commercial, and Consumer Electronics verticals. This diverse product range includes top-quality microphones, headphones, and audio interfaces, serving to meet the demands of both professional and consumer markets.

As CAD Audio reaches another milestone, they are set to unveil several new products at this year’s NAMM 2025. These include the CAD WX100, a 2.4 GHz XLR wireless adapter designed for use with wired handheld microphones. The onboard phantom power enables compatibility with condenser microphones. The CAD WX100 will be available starting in late March.

The WX1000GN is a WX1000 series wireless system featuring a dynamic gooseneck microphone and a heavy-duty base with an easily accessible mute button. The gooseneck design allows you to adjust the microphone to the perfect position for optimal sound capture, while the wireless feature eliminates the need for cables, reducing clutter and allowing for a cleaner setup. Shipping begins in late March.

The WX1000HW is a wireless head-worn microphone from the highly popular WX1000 series. It allows for hands-free use, making it ideal for presentations, performances, and dynamic activities. CAD’s WX1000HW begins shipping in late March.

“We are thrilled to introduce the expansion of the CAD Audio WX1000 series, a groundbreaking leap in ‘value-quality’ based wireless microphone technology,” said Paul Jenkins, Director of Global Sales at CAD Audio. “With unparalleled clarity, robust construction, and user-friendly features, the WX1000 series is designed to meet the demands of professionals and enthusiasts alike. CAD has made the freedom of affordable wireless audio possible for a whole new set of users with our latest innovations!”

CAD’s WX19 is a miniature ear-worn microphone that is designed to be discreet and lightweight, providing consistent sound quality due to its proximity to the mouth. This positioning helps reduce the risk of sound level changes when the user moves their head and minimizes background noise, making it ideal for use in noisy environments. Shipping starts in late March.

The CAD GX18VP is a unique 18-inch gooseneck microphone with a continuously variable pickup pattern. This feature enables precise control over the microphone’s sensitivity, allowing it to be adjusted for various environments and applications. It captures clear and consistent audio, making it ideal for speeches, presentations, and other vocal uses. Shipping will be available starting in late March.

“We are excited to unveil our latest products at this year’s NAMM Show. CAD Audio has established a reputation for delivering high-quality, high-value products in the MI and Commercial markets,” said Gary Byers, Global Sourcing Manager, at CAD Audio. “We are proud to continue CAD Audio’s decades-long tradition of providing affordable solutions for creators at every level.”

Amid the excitement of product releases at this year’s NAMM 2025, the CAD Audio booth will feature listening stations where you can experience the quality of their microphones firsthand. Additionally, one of CAD Audio’s most exciting artists, The Kid Brothers ‘TBK,’ will be performing. Come visit CAD at ACC North Level 2, Booth #17504.
