Phil Jones Bass/Pure Sound (PJB) has announced the appointment of Rick Carlson to the position of director of Sales and Marketing.
Carlson will oversee the management and expansion of the PJB sales team which includes the appointment of outside independent reps as well as the company’s inside sales organization. His responsibilities will also include the direction and development of artist and press/media relations.
Carlson’s extensive MI background includes the start-up and expansion as head of Sales and Marketing for brands that include Kala Brand Music, SWR Engineering Inc., Power Group Ltd, and ACE Products Group. His background with the bass market includes the establishment of SWR as a premier bass amplification brand and advancing the successful introduction of the U-Bass brand for Kala.
Phil Jones states, “Rick brings a proven industry track record along with a pedigree in the bass world that fits perfectly with our plans for the future and the expansion of our brand.
