  • Hal Leonard Inks Distribution Deal with QSC

    Hal Leonard Corporation has reached an agreement with QSC Audio Products, LLC to distribute all of their mixers, power amplifiers and speakers throughout the United States. Hal Leonard’s Brad Smith reached the deal with QSC’s director of North American Sales Perry Celia. Products will ship starting July 1.

  • NAMM Members Get Behind Make Music Day

    Banding together the music industry placed the power of making music into the hands of people worldwide on Make Music Day, June 21. Gathering in communities across the country, musicians of every stripe rang in the summer solstice playing music together outdoors. Helmed by the NAMM Foundation’s Mass Appeal effort, NAMM member companies encouraged musicians and non-musicians to pick up instruments and play.

  • 2014-15 NAMM Foundation Music Ed Grants Total Half a Million Dollars

    The NAMM Foundation allocates a half million dollars in grants to fund music programs around the world. This year’s list includes 16 grantees from community, national and industry-based organizations that help to provide access to quality music education and promote the pleasures and benefits of making music.

    The 2014-15 grants represent a small percentage of the NAMM Foundation’s annual multimillion-dollar reinvestment into scientific research, advocacy, philanthropic giving, and public service programs related to making music. Through its partners, the NAMM Foundation fortifies programs that increase interest and participation in making music among people of all ages and stations. Since 1994, the NAMM Foundation has assisted worthy domestic and international music-making programs with nearly $14.6 million in grant-making support.

  • Buffet Group Announces ‘Juno’ Select Student Reed Partnership with Vandoren
