Previewed via social media in late 2020, the new GALA professional clarinets created an immediate global sensation with their distinct look and features, along with technical designs that give it its own unique tonal quality that is still distinctly “Buffet”. The GALA offers clarinetists a professional, French-made Buffet Crampon clarinet at a competitive price point providing another great option from Buffet Crampon for those looking for their next new clarinet.
The GALA clarinets offer a stained African blackwood body, silver-plated keywork, leather pads, two barrels, and a compact pochette-style case, and is outfitted with an upgraded HB France ligature and cap set, with a unique mix of silver-plating (ligature) and black nickel-plating (cap). Its most distinctive features, making it unlike any other Buffet Crampon professional clarinet, are the black nickel-plated tenon rings and GALA upper joint medallion, providing an absolutely stunning instrument that plays as well as it looks.
