Excelcia Music Publishing is excited to announce the release of its 2025-2026 Choral Music catalog, with over 70 new original and arranged songs for school, church, and adult and children’s community choirs. The new catalog, presented by Choral Editor Jamey Ray with a timely release at the ACDA National Convention, contains a wide variety of selections for which the publisher is known and also features a significant expansion of accessible songs for young voices. The new Cantabile Series features an expanded catalog of accessible songs for younger voices and developing choirs. New “accompanied editions” of songs from both the Voctave and Derric Johnson series provide condensed voicing for more accessibility. Continuing to grow the Derric Johnson Choral Series, the publisher added the new Derric Johnson Inspirational Choral Series, featuring popular hymns and songs that helped propel Johnson’s career with Re’Generation. The publisher proudly continues to exclusively distribute Choral works by Michael John Trotta, as well as the songs of popular composer Pinkzebra.
The new release includes songs from returning and well-known composers, and Excelcia Music Publishing welcomes eight new voices to its composer roster. With a full range of voicings and styles, the release includes songs for holiday, festival, spring concert, and more, as well as free online recordings and resources, including, new this year, Program Notes which can be copied and pasted directly into programs.
“The newest Excelcia Choral Catalog is all about music that inspires optimism—whether through powerful texts, rich harmonies, or melodies that just feel good to sing,” says Jamey Ray, Choral Editor. “This year’s selections really lean into storytelling, giving singers and audiences something to hold onto, and celebrating finding one’s own voice and standing up for what our students believe. You’ll find a mix of new and familiar composers, each bringing something unique, whether it’s an unexpected twist on a classic or an original piece that fits perfectly into a concert. I am excited about this year’s release, offering Choral directors versatile options to make programming easier and performances more meaningful.”
The publisher welcomes eight new composers to its Choral Music catalog: Nathan Farrell, Glenda E. Franklin, Christopher Kamerling, Jennifer Klein, Jacob Narverud, Richard A. Nichols, Andrew Parr, and Tim Winebrenner. The new release also features pieces from returning favorites Christopher Alexander, Tyler Arcari, Kara Stacy Bedwell, Lisa Benincasa, Tripp Carter, Karen Crane, Patti Drennan, John Florio, Greg Gilpin, Derric Johnson, Brandon Martell, Blake R. Mitchell, Alexsis Neenan, Kim Noller, Steve Parsons, Jamey Ray, Russell Robinson, John Maclane Schirard, Connor Warren Smith, Bruce W. Tippette, and Marshall Webb.
