The Tube Amp Doctor turns 30!

For the 30th anniversary Celestion gives us a guitar speaker that belongs to the G12H family – and is made in England.

With slight differences in components and tonal tuning, the G12TAD (12″, 30W, 8 ohms, MSRP EUR 139,-* / item number: LCEG12TAD-8) is between a G12H and a G12M Greenback and masters edgy blues and rock sounds perfectly.

In a 4×12 cabinet, the speaker produces classic, woody sounds, and is powerful enough for 100W tops.

Clean, the speaker is dynamic with clear and articulate highs and offers a warm low end. If you put down the pedal, the G12TAD delivers fantastic sustain, with a British-vocal midrange and warm, harmonic overtones. The lows remain perfectly focused. Compared to the G12H 70th Anniversary, the G12TAD has a milder voice with more attack in the higher mids resulting in a more natural response. Absolutely inspiring!
