XILS-lab announces the availability of XILS Vocoder 5000 – inspired by its EMS Vocoder 5000 hardware (partial) namesake as an affordable vocoder plug-in for Mac (32- and 64-bit, AU, AAX, RTAS, VST 2.4, and VST 3 for Mac OS X 10.6 or higher) and PC (32- and 64-bit, AAX, RTAS, and VST for Windows XP, Vista, 7, ad 8).
XILS-lab’s software-based vocoder virtually emulates the filtering techniques and circuitry of its analogue predecessor. The XILS Vocoder 5000 can be made to ‘speak’ clearly in English and German, or in any other language. The XILS Vocoder 5000 features additional features like more SLEW RATE modulations, two LFOs, in-depth FM AMNT and PWM AMNT controls, additional oscillator waveforms, improved SPEECH, GATE input, and also a keyboard for playing melodies and chords. The XILS Vocoder 5000 is available to purchase and download directly from XILS-lab as an eLicenser or iLok cop-protected virtual instrument and effects plug-in for $118.41 until January 17th, 2015. Thereafter, the price will rise to $178.22.
