Inside Track will manage D’Addario’s global sales of both fretted instrument strings—bulk packaged and private label—and D’Addario|Planet Waves.
According to Peter D’Addario, the company’s U.S. Sales Manager and to whom Inside Track will report, “We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Evan and Doreen and Inside Track. I have a lot of respect for the work Evan has done over the years at Seymour Duncan and now at Inside Track. We are investing in our OEM business and we see it as an area of growth for our company over the next several years. And personally, I am thrilled to be working with someone with such a rich knowledge of our industry and guitar building.”
Prior to co-founding Inside Track International, Skopp spent 20 years managing Seymour Duncan’s sales, marketing, and product development efforts. He has also served as President of the Guitar and Accessories Marketing Association. Headquartered in California, Inside Track will continue to handle Duncan’s OEM sales along with D’Addario and several other brands.
Says Skopp, “D’Addario is such a strong name in the fretted instrument market: every guitarist and luthier has grown up with their products. For Inside Track to manage their global OEM sales is something we’re incredibly excited about.” In addition to Peter D’Addario, Inside Track will work alongside Paul Henderson, D’Addario’s in-house OEM/Private Label Sales Specialist.
