Dean Guitars and ddrum announce sponsorship of the Metal Allegiance 10th Anniversary concert at NAMM in January. Launched a decade ago as a collective of heavy metal titans celebrating the tight-knit, tribal metal community, Metal Allegiance will reassemble on January 25th, 2024, at the House of Blues Anaheim for the band’s 10th anniversary celebration. Coinciding with the return of the NAMM Show, the Musical Instrument industry’s largest gathering, the evening will feature opening acts Dieth, Held Hostage, and Quor. Additional sponsorship is provided by Heavys Headphones.

Dean Guitars and ddrum will be on-hand for the show displaying instruments and gear on at the venue and will also provide endorsing artists to performing onstage with Metal Allegiance. Armadillo Enterprises – parent company of both Dean and ddrum – will welcome partner MI retailers and friends to this once-in-a-lifetime concert, sure to be the “must attend” event of Thursday evening at the 2024 NAMM Show.

Metal Allegiance’s (MA) core members – guitarist Alex Skolnick (Testament), bassist Mark Menghi, drummer Mike Portnoy (Dream Theatre), and bassist David Ellefson (Megadeth) – will be joined by Chuck Billy (Testament), Gary Holt (Exodus, Slayer), Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), John Bush (Armored Saint), Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth (Overkill), Doc Coyle (Bad Wolves, God Forbid), Chris Poland (ex-Megadeth), Brann Dailor (Mastodon), and Troy Sanders (Mastodon), with other surprise guest performers anticipated. This January’s event marks the first performance by Metal Allegiance at House of Blues Anaheim since 2020, which took place during that year’s NAMM Show – the last held in Anaheim, in January, before COVID-related disruptions to the industry.

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since we started Metal Allegiance,” says Ellefson. “But here we are, a couple albums and a whole bunch of shows later, celebrating the strength and resilience of heavy metal together. Looking forward to the show, as everything is back in swing during NAMM 2024!” Menghi adds, “I never in my life imagined a band like MA would exist… Excited to see my brothers, jam and laugh with them again. Only one place to kick off the festivities and that’s our home away from home at the House of Blues in Anaheim Cal-i-forn-i-A.”

Tickets and VIP upgrade packages are available through Ticketmaster starting October 13.
