Excelcia Music Publishing is proud to announce the release of over 40 new choral pieces as part of its 2023-2024 Choral Music catalog, including 10 original arrangements in the publisher’s Derric Johnson Choral Series. The release includes educational resources, such as professional recordings of each piece, part-track recording bundles, accompaniment and performance MP3s, ScoreVideos and Composer Insights videos. Five new songs from top-selling composer Pinkzebra are also available from Excelcia Music Publishing alongside this year’s Choral release.

“I am excited for Choral Directors to explore this year’s release. The new music is exciting and wide-ranging with great options for every level of chorus and concert. There are beautiful spiritual and folk song arrangements, great holiday pieces, and uplifting works about peace and self-love,” describes Jamey Ray, Choral Editor.  “We’ve added new and talented composers to our roster, and of course, I’m thrilled to release 10 new songs in the beloved Derric Johnson Choral Series.”

The publisher welcomes the following new composers and arrangers to its orchestra catalog: Lisa Benincasa, Tripp Carter, Lawrence Laureano, and Mary Lynn Lightfoot. The new release also features pieces from familiar favorites David Bobrowitz, Karen Crane, Patti Drennan, John Florio, Greg Gilpin, Kim Noller, Steve Parsons, Russell Robinson, John Maclane Schirard, Connor Warren Smith, Bruce W. Tippette, and Marshall Webb. The 10 new arrangements in The Derric Johnson Choral Series include holiday classics and other beloved songs from the world-renowned musician.

Each new octavo is edited and artfully set for ease of reading. These works vary from unison/two-part up to SATB divisi and are color coded for efficient selection and discovery. Excelcia Music Publishing provides ScoreVideos, live professional recordings and preview scores for each piece, as well as Composer Insights videos, all easily accessible at excelciamusic.com.

In conjunction with its 2023-2024 Choral release, the publisher has released five new pieces from Pinkzebra, the popular choral music composer, each of which is available in multiple voicings: SATB, SAB, SSA, and Two-Part.  Excelcia Music Publishing is proud to be the exclusive distributor of Pinkzebra’s sheet music.  The newly released songs are Climb Higher, December in my Hometown, The First Noel, A New Day and When the Morning Breaks (which is also available for A Capella).

Excelcia Music Publishing’s 2023-2024 Choral music is available from music retailers and from the publisher.
