Donner, a musical instrument brand and manufacturer based in Guangzhou, China, showcased a wide range of new and innovative instruments and audio devices at the Music China 2025 Exhibition, which concluded last Saturday. Below are some of the event’s highlighted launches.
MIYAVI Signature Effect Pedal: the Double Swords Series 3-in-1 Multi-Effect
The new Double Swords pedal consists of two individual 3-in-1 multi-effect pedals, the Rage Breaker and the Dimension Weaver. This is the first collaboration between Donner and Japanese guitarist MIYAVI, who was named the brand’s creative director last year. The Rage Breaker in red finish consists of Overdrive, Fuzz and a Booster while the Dimension Weaver in blue is with Chorus, Delay and S-Verb.
DONNER x Ruben Wan Signature Pedals
Donner also partnered with Panamanian-Chinese guitarist Ruben Wan on building a set of two new effect pedals, the CELESTIA and the UMBRIA. Featuring two selectable modes in CLASSIC and RUMBLE, UMBRIA is a distortion pedal that blends vintage aesthetics with versatile tonal options. CELESTIA features Classic and Dream modes offering vintage-inspired and richly immersive chorus tones.
HUSH-X PRO with New Colors Ships with Steinberg Software
Since its launch at The NAMM Show 2025, the HUSH-X PRO headless electric guitar is now available in two more colorways: Midnight Glow and Premium White. By partnering with the renowned music tech company Steinberg based in Germany, the two HUSH-X Pro now shipping with a bundle of three Steinberg DAWs to its customers: Cubase LE, Cubasis LE and WaveLab Cast, free of charge. Both HUSH-X PRO and HUSH-I Pro guitars have been added to the latest list of supported devices for the Cubasis LE 3.
BackBeat Pro and Groove Ultra Electronic Drums
Designed for drummers, Donner introduced advanced models including the BackBeat Pro, the upgraded version from the BackBeat and a brand-new Groove series, providing a premium experience for drummers pursuing precision performance. Partnering with Melodics, a music education app from New Zealand, all Donner electronic drums and digital pianos will come with a bundle of 40 free drum lessons offered by Melodics.
Donner VIVA Stringless Guitar
Among new product highlights, the Donner VIVA Stringless Guitar stood out in the New Product area. Designed for singer-songwriters and performance enthusiasts, the VIVA guitar featured authentic sampled sounds and multiple rhythm options, allowing every one-man performance to feel like playing live with a real band.
