Eliminator Lighting is pleased to announce the launch of its compact and portable Mini Par Bar wash lighting system. This affordable all-in-one package features four vibrant LED par lighting fixtures, mounted on a linear bar, and supplied complete with a tripod stand, wireless remote and transportation bag. It is ideal for a wide variety of uses, including stage lighting, bands, DJs, mobile entertainers, nightclubs, lounges, bars, and portable churches.

Each of the system’s four compact LED par fixtures feature twelve 1-Watt colored LEDs (3 x red, 3 x green, 3 x blue and 3 x white) and generate a colored wash of light with a 25-degree beam angle. The par units are constructed from tough molded plastic and are mounted to the central T-bar by variable angle yokes with thumb tightening screws. This means that each of the four individual pars can be independently positioned to point in any direction and then locked securely in place.

Power and control signals are delivered to each of the par fixtures from the central T-bar via a single cable with a proprietary 4-pin connection that locks into a dedicated plug on the bar. Power for all four fixtures is supplied by a single IEC power input on the central bar and a single set of 3-pin DMX input and output connections allow color mixing control from any DMX compatible controller or software system.

The Mini Par Bar is very easy to use and offers various control options. For simple standalone operation, it can be set to run through in-built color chase patterns in either Sound Active mode – triggered by a musical beat detected by an internal microphone – or Auto mode – at a user selectable constant speed. Multiple fixtures can be linked together in either of these modes in a Primary/Secondary configuration to easily create a larger synchronized lighting setup. For integration into a lighting system that includes other fixture types, DMX control is supported using 8 channels. The system is also supplied with a compact IR remote control which offers the following functionality: On/Off, All On, Quick Color Change, Slow Color Change, Strobe, Color Adjustment, Chase Speed Adjustment and DMX Channel Selection.

This is a very versatile system, which is suitable for a wide variety of applications. It allows users to utilize the fixtures portably on the supplied tripod stand, in a fixed installation using the mounting points on the T-bar or set on the ground used as foot lighting. The variable height tripod can be locked into place anywhere between 47.25” (1200mm) and 76.375” (1940mm), allowing for use in rooms and on stages of different shapes and sizes. At only 15.5 lbs. (7.5 kgs.), the system is very lightweight and, with dimensions of just (1030 x 150 x 395mm), it is very easy to transport and therefore ideal for mobile applications.

“We are pleased to announce the expansion of the Eliminator Lighting range with the addition of the new Mini Par Bar system,” comments Albert Paredes, Product Manager for Eliminator Lighting. “This affordable, robust, versatile and easily portable system is ideal for any situation where colored wash lighting is required, either as part of a fixed installation or for one-off performances or events. Its wide variety of operational modes make it suitable for situations where simple ‘set it and forget it’ lighting is required, where exacting DMX color mixing control is needed and for all other situations in between. The system’s use of efficient LED light sources also means that its power draw is minimal and significantly reduces the amount of heat it emits, keeping the temperature for performers more comfortable compared to when conventional stage lighting is used. Provided complete with tripod, IR remote, power cable and transportation bag, the Mini Par Bar is the perfect portable wash lighting solution.”

The Eliminator Lighting Mini Par Bar will bring any room to life with punchy washes of colored light. It is available now from ADJ dealers across the US and Mexico.
