Saint Laurent Rive Droite and Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) have released a co-branded collection including a Limited EditionFender® x Saint Laurent Stratocaster® guitar, Limited Edition ’65 Deluxe Reverb® Fender® x Saint Laurent Amplifier, and Limited Edition Fender® x Saint Laurent Celluloid Picks.

Founded in 1946, Fender has created guitars, amps, pedals and accessories for players around the world and their innovative musical equipment has been played on more stages than any other company in the industry, revolutionizing music and culture as one of the world’s leading musical instrument manufacturers, marketers and distributors. It is the home to some of the most-skilled luthiers in the world – who craft Fender’s legendary instruments and push the boundaries of possibility.

Anthony Vaccarello’s limited edition showcases the expertise of Fender’s innovative luthiers while capturing the elegance of Saint Laurent’ssignature. This exclusive high-gloss black Stratocaster® guitar model features an alder body and a maple ’60s Oval “C”-shaped neck with a flat-laminated ebony fingerboard and sterling silver dot inlays, combining classic tonewoods and haute couture embellishments. The black painted, 1-ply phenolic pickguard is loaded with hand-wound ’60s Stratocaster® pickups in black lipstick covers for iconic Fender tone with a contemporary look. Beneath the vintage synchronized tremolo, the body is adorned with a silver Saint Laurent logo.

In addition, the Limited Edition Fender® ’65 Deluxe Reverb® x Saint Laurent Amplifier is a timeless Fender classic and one of the mostindispensable guitar amps ever made. One of the coolest amps around, it has fantastic sound and vintage mid-’60s style still prized by rock, blues and country players globally. This unique, limited-edition amplifier also includes a YSL logo, upgraded YSL-branded cover and black grille cloth. The collection is complete with custom, limited-edition Fender® x Saint Laurent Celluloid Picks ideal for any playing style or technique –with Fender’s classic 351 shape providing easy gripping and a rounded point to reduce string noise. This pick is made from celluloid, apremier pick material with traditional feel and a warm, round musical tone. These limited edition picks come in a co-branded collector’stin with 6 picks: 2 black, 2 white and 2 checkered.

Available exclusively in SLRD stores in Paris and Los Angeles. Only 10 guitars have been made worldwide. Additional can be made again upon request.
