Hal Leonard Announces Expansion of First 50 Series

Hal Leonard started its First 50 series in 2015 with a couple of piano and guitar titles. The books were carefully designed and arranged for players who had started taking lessons and were anxious to start putting their new skills to good use with songs that inspired them to want to play in the first place! The books were curated to include popular songs and time-tested standards that belong in every musician’s playbook. The reaction was fantastic, and the series quickly grew to include books for nearly every instrument and musical genre imaginable. The series currently stands at 115 titles!

Thanks to Hal Leonard’s access to a vast catalog of song rights, the editorial team decided that beginners deserved even more song suggestions for what to play as they start their musical journey. Hal Leonard will be debuting Next First 50 books at the 2024 NAMM show.
