Full time positions include full benefits after a trial period. This includes paid vacation, health care and retirement fund. The position offers great potential for growth for hard working, reliable, self-motivated individuals. Tasks may include the following (Prior experience preferred, though not required): Handling and moving material, including stacking and unstacking lumber– must be physically able to lift up to 80 lbs . Being open to learning to operate heavy equipment, including a track skid steer, front-end loaders, telehandlers, and our LT70 Woodmizer sawmill. Operating standard machinery such as bandsaws, jointers, planers, and table saws. General machine maintenance, adjustments, and keeping equipment and work areas clean. Operating company flatbed trucks and truck-trailer combinations (Non-CDL, but requires passing a DOT physical). Forklift operation Assisting customers with a positive attitude and utilizing our internal computer database to track lumber inventory. Remaining adaptable and willing to pivot between different tasks and departments as needed. Job Requirements: Reliable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work well with others. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and work outdoors in both summer and winter conditions. Strong basic math skills, which are essential for measuring wood and tracking inventory. Attention to detail with a strict focus on tool safety and efficiency. An interest in woodworking, mechanical work, or an overall appreciation for rare wood is preferred.
