CURRENT JOB OPENINGS AT ESP TITLE: PAINT TECH/BUFFER JOB SUMMARY Perform guitar manufacturing duties in the paint/buffing department at ESP USA Guitar Manufacturing Facility, focusing on sanding and buffing clearcoat finished guitars to specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Sand and buff clearcoat finished guitars using hand sanders and buffing machines Process guitars to specifications, removing paint imperfections within tolerances Prepare surfaces for buffing and maintain daily production quotas Demonstrate urgency in completing orders to meet production goals Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Experience sanding/buffing/polishing urethane and polyester resin clear coated finishes (highly preferred) Guitar manufacturing experience in fast-paced production environment (highly preferred) Surface preparation and painting experience (guitars, autobody, cabinet finishing) Basic to intermediate paint processing knowledge for production quotas Familiarity with orbital sanders, buffing wheels, and related tools High attention to detail and quality control Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment Commitment to maintaining clean, safe working conditions Must speak, read, and write English fluently Adherence to company safety policies required STARTING PAY: $18-$19/HR Inquire about this position at HR@espguitars.com TITLE: WOOD SHOP TECH JOB SUMMARY Perform the day-to-day responsibilities and duties of guitar manufacturing within the wood shop of the ESP USA Guitar Manufacturing Facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Process wood to specifications using machinery such as jointers, planers, thickness sanders, and bandsaws Verifying specifications of processed lumber Assist in the construction and assembly of guitars Verify calculations and alignments of all components Operate hand sanders and sanding tools to prepare surfaces of wood for finishing Remove imperfections in surfaces wood and ensure all specifications are within tolerances Maintain a quota of pieces assembled or prepared per day, set by Wood Shop Supervisor Other duties as assigned by Supervisor QUALIFICATIONS Basic to intermediate knowledge of wood processing in a production setting to meet both weekly and monthly goals/quotas Basic knowledge of wood shop machinery such as jointers, planers, thickness sanders, bandsaws, presses, routers, and other tooling Beginner to intermediate experience in wood sanding/shaping/cutting/gluing High attention to detail Monitor sanding process to ensure quality and efficiency Problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication Time management and organizational skills Ability to maintain a consistent teamwork mentality Ability to multitask Ability to keep and maintain a clean and safe working environment Must adhere to company safety policies Must speak, read and write English STARTING PAY: $18-$19/HR Inquire about this position at HR@espguitars.com TITLE: GUITAR TECH JOB SUMMARY Perform inspection of new instruments in the Quality Control Department at ESP Guitars USA.
