Los Angeles sported the newest and highly anticipated synthesizer focused festival Synthplex, providing attendees access to the latest in modular, analog and more. KORG joined the masses by displaying their top gear including their innovative analog series of prologue, minilogue and monologue, electribes, MS20 Minis, and more. Waldorf, another dominant brand leading the synth wave, accompanied KORG with the sought-after Streichfett keyboard and the Blofeld synthesizer.
“The West Coast has a large community of electronic music and synthesizer users, so having a new synth convention with so many artists and enthusiasts was a great experience for us. Plus, showcasing the Waldorf Kyra was a lot of fun as musicians flocked to our booth to experience the new FPGA-based technology. It was incredible,” says Nick Kwas, product specialist for KORG USA, Inc.
In addition to the display of gear, Synthplex provided additional opportunities for attendees including: DIY synth building workshops, educational and technology tutorials, speaking panels hosted by Grammy-nominated artists, producers and more.
