Lee Oskar Harmonicas has reported that its market share has broadened to record levels just as it approaches its 35th anniversary in 2017.

Retailers have been able to boost their profitability by cross-promoting harmonica sales with various items like effect pedals, chromatic tuners, and other instruments carried by retailers. Two selling points in particular have been helping retailers: (1) the harmonica is an easy, fun way to enhance artistry and add variety to music of all genres, and (2) the harmonica is an excellent compositional tool that is ideal for making melodies and coming up with hook lines.
