Following a strong Summer NAMM debut, Omacro has been bringing big MI brands onto their one-of-a-kind product and pricing communication network. Director of Client Success Dana Soza has been working to make sure Omacro’s private and secure automated product and pricing information network offers convenient access to the brands retailers communicate with. In addition to forming a strategic partnership with Yamaha, several new brands have been brought on to the network:
Yamaha, Sabian, Avalon Design, Ace Products, QSC, Alfred Music, inMusic (Akai, Alesis, Numark, Alto, and M-Audio), U.S Music Corp (Randall Amplifiers, Parker Guitars, Jay Turser, Oscar Schmidt, Washburn Guitars), Mapex drums, Rapco-Horizon, Presonus, Zoom, and D'Addario
Alongside all these new members, Omacro has developed many new features. Suppliers and distributors with numerous marketing assets for their products will be happy to see the new FTP service, which allows for quick and easy uploading of multiple images, videos, and other marketing assets. Companies working to adapt to the NAMM Standards will be happy to see that they can now categorize their products to the standards through the Omacro interface. There have been several improvements to the upload and download of spreadsheets, which now include all available product data.
Additionally, numerous improvements have been made to Omacro’s patented “Buy Now” feature. This dealer referral mechanism – free to manufacturers – can now be used internationally, display or hide pricing info, sort/rank/randomize retailers, sort by style, and show online brick and mortar retailers.
Tri-Tech and Retail Up integrations are in the works for the system, which has been steadily growing throughout 2014.
