Peavey will sponsor a youth showcase during the upcoming 2019 DJ Expo at Harrah’s Resort. In this special event on August 13, Peavey will prepare a stage at booth #507 for young DJs to party-rock with some of the highest-quality equipment on the market. Two talented young ladies have been named to the bill so far: DJ Sophia and DJ A-Eazy.
DJ Sophia is an 11-year-old DJ from Delaware with an inspiring story of overcoming a birth defect that required heart surgery. She has performed at various events locally and out of state, entertaining audiences of all ages. Joining her will be DJ A-Eazy, an 8-year-old DJ from Baltimore, who has been gaining experience and honing her skills at community events in and around her hometown. More youth DJs will be announced as the event approaches.
To help foster mentorship within the community, Peavey will also be bringing Peavey artists DJ Ponfetti, DJ Fe, and more to perform and share their experiences with a younger generation.
