Peavey Electronics sponsored the inaugural #NoChaser International Kidz & Teen DJ Showcase & Fundraiser. Presented by Music Factory Entertainment’s International DJ Cafe and Into Fields Live Entertainment, this unique event took place at Kendrick Recreation Center, in collaboration with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, on the afternoon of April 28. All proceeds from tickets will be used to expand the existing youth program.
To help these aspiring DJs spin their tracks, Peavey contributed its line of Dark Matter™ speakers to the event.
All proceeds from the showcase will support the expansion of Kids DJ Workshops. This program is organized by Into Fields, a women-owned-and-operated DJ and mobile entertainment company, with support from Peavey. Under the direction and guidance of professional mentors DJ Greggie C, DJ Top Choice, DJ Neek Nyce, DJ Milly Mill, DJ Aye West, and DJ GROOVE, Kids DJ Workshops are designed to teach children ages 7 to 14 the fundamental skills of mixing music, scratching, and beat juggling, which can take them beyond playing music at parties.
