Shure has named Prase Engineering as its new exclusive distributor for Italy. The Venice-based organization takes on distribution for Shure and its DIS conferencing products across the country as of January 16th.
“Prase Engineering is a well-established and highly-respected distributor in the market. Their business focus and strengths aligns well to our strategy in the country and positions us well for future growth, in particular, in the system integration market,” commented Ron Marchant, Shure EMEA’s general manager of sales.
Ennio Prase, CEO of Prase Engineering, added: “We are tremendously excited about representing Shure in Italy. The addition of Shure’s broad product portfolio complements and significantly strengthens our current audio portfolio allowing us to offer an even wider range of innovative, value-added audio solutions to the system integration, pro audio and retail markets.”
The change in distributor will see Shure part ways with long-time distributor Sisme, which will continue to represent the brand until January 15th. “Naturally the decision to change distribution after such a long, fruitful partnership is difficult. Sisme has been our trusted partner in the Italian market for 50 years and we’d like to sincerely thank their organisation for their dedication and commitment to growing the Shure brand,” Marchant concluded.
