Shergold Guitars has announced the launch of new colours into their Telstar electric guitar series.
Having initially launched their Telstar series in August 2023 in two finishes – Champagne Gold and Pastel Blue – the award-winning British guitar brand is delighted to add Black and Metallic Orange models for 2024.
In line with Shergold’s Provocateur and Masquerader series guitars, the Shergold Telstar Standard (ST14) is designed in the UK by British luthier Patrick James Eggle. It features a double cut body design with a raised centre section fitted with a double humbucker pickup configuration. Electronics come courtesy of two Page FilterSonic humbucker pickups, a three-position switch, and 1 x volume / 1 x tone controls (A500K) for a distinctive blend of warm and bright tones with bags of nuanced character.
Featuring a maple neck with laurel fingerboard and a six in-line colour-matched headstock alongside a solid poplar body, chrome hardware and a fixed string-through-body bridge, the Shergold Telstar’s bold and unique style is designed with the passionate, individual player in mind.
The Telstar was voted one of the ‘Best Sub-£500 Electric Guitars of 2023’ by Guitarist Magazine in their Gear of The Year roundup.
