Sweetwater achieved its highest customer service ranking in company history. In the latest Newsweek magazine list of America’s Best Customer Service Companies, Sweetwater ranked eighth overall, placing ahead of iconic service leaders such as the Four Seasons, Disney Parks & Resorts, American Express, Nordstrom, Chewy, and many others.
Newsweek also named Sweetwater number one for customer service in the music industry, reinforcing its reputation as the nation’s leading online retailer for musical instruments and pro audio gear. Sweetwater stands among the most trusted and admired service organizations in America, scoring 94.09 out of 100 on Newsweek’s evaluation.
The annual review of businesses by Newsweek draws from over 200,000 customer evaluations that are gathered through independent surveys of people who have made purchases, used services, or have conducted research on products and services in the past three years.
“Sweetwater was founded on the idea of helping our friends make music,” commented Justin Dunbar, Sweetwater’s Director of Customer Support. “That spirit drives everything we do. Providing the best customer service we can is simply an extension of that notion. We’re not just serving customers; we’re serving fellow musicians and our friends.”
This latest honor builds on Sweetwater’s growing list of national recognition from Newsweek. Past awards include America’s Best of the Best (2025), America’s Greatest Workplace (2023), America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity (2023), Best Customer Service (2023), and Best Online Shops (2022).
