“EDU’s were always in our sights,” said Herschel Blankenship, managing director of ACCESS Products Group, parent company of Triad-Orbit. “What better environment to introduce new users to our products than college level recording programs? But what we didn’t know was they were also the ultimate proving ground and torture chamber for our stands. We met lots of professors and studio administrators at that first AES Show and most shared a common story: microphone stands were a problem in their programs and one of their largest reoccurring expenditures.”
“Triad-Orbit grabbed my attention because of the innovative design and obvious quality compared to the traditional stands we were using in our studios,” said Tarik Mahrour, director of Studio Operations at Berklee.
