Waldorf Music GmbH has announced the appointment of American Music & Sound (AM&S) as its new U.S. distributor. American Music & Sound, an Exertis | JAM business, will represent the Waldorf brand in the United States and all U.S. territories and regions including Puerto Rico. AM&S will play an important role in the further development and expansion of the storied synthesizer brand.
As one of the leading companies in the MI and Pro Audio markets, with a team of dedicated account executives composed of industry thought leaders, world-class audio engineers and musicians, subject matter experts, marketing veterans and sales talent, AM&S is uniquely positioned to grow the Waldorf brand. As an extension of many the world’s top brands (such as Allen & Heath, BASSBOSS, Focusrite, etc.), AM&S has intimate knowledge of the US market and a clear vision of trends in the technology landscape.
“Waldorf has been a leader in the synthesizer technology space for many decades now,” notes American Music & Sound Music Creation Division Vice President of Sales, Bryan Pistone. “From early hybrid synths with analog filters like Microwave, Q or Wave to the High-Class-Hybrid-Synthesizer-Keyboards like Quantum, Iridium, M, Kyra or Blofeld today, Waldorf has always been an innovator. We are proud to bring them on board as a key part of the AM&S portfolio of music creation brands.”
Joachim Flor, Managing Director of Waldorf Music, expressed his excitement about the new partnership: “We are delighted to welcome AM&S and the wider Exertis | JAM team as our new distribution partner. Their impressive experience and expertise will undoubtedly have a positive impact on our strategic direction and future business goals. We are sure that this partnership will lead to further growth and success for Waldorf Music GmbH.”
