Wingert-Jones Publications has released its new Concert Band Music and Jazz Ensemble Music catalogs for 2022-2023.  Written by a strong roster of composers and arrangers, the new catalogs are filled with pieces and additional resources for music educators and directors, including ScoreVideos with professional recordings and Composer Insights videos.  Accompanying its release, the publisher has unveiled interactive Digital Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble Catalogs, as well as a new tagline, “Achieve through Music,” and website at  www.wingertjones.com.

“I’m delighted to introduce a wonderful collection of new works for Concert Band by a group of supremely talented writers,” said Director of Music Production and Editing, Tyler Arcari.  “This year’s catalog has something special for every concert program.”

Among many highlights in the catalog, the publisher has expanded its best-selling “Achievement Series” into new grade levels including grades .5 and 1.5.  New series names have also been established to help directors better identify the music that best fits their ensembles: First Achievement (.5), Early Achievement (1), Achievement (1.5), Achievement Plus (2-2.5), Concert (3-3.5), Symphonic (4 and up), and the Bourgeois Editions series.

For a second year, Wingert-Jones Publications’ new Jazz Ensemble Music catalog offers several pieces at a variety of grade levels making it easy for directors to find pieces suitable to their program.  Grouped in three difficulty levels ranging from intermediate to advanced, each chart is carefully edited and has fully notated rhythm section parts, with chord changes where appropriate.

“The tradition of big band music continues with wonderfully solid charts from solid writers,” exclaims Jazz Editor, Blair Bielawski.

Composers featured in the Wingert-Jones Publications Concert Band catalog are Tyler Arcari, John R. Bourgeois, Chris Campbell, Carol Brittin Chambers, Larry Clark, Vince Gassi, Hunter Gregory, Jim Johnson, Mark Lortz, Gene Milford, Steve Parsons, John M. Pasternak, Steven J. Pyter, Van B. Ragsdale, Katherine Rorabaugh, Peter Sciaino, Randall D. Strandridge, Travis J. Weller, and Terry White.  The composer roster in the Jazz Ensemble Music catalog includes Howard Carroll, Ed Gaston, J.S. Gregg, Luca Poletti and Terry White.

Wingert-Jones Publications’ 2022-2023 Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble releases are available from music retailers and from the publisher.
