Tateside has completed a complex audiovisual installation at the Trillium residential development sales suite in London, utilizing five Epson EB-L210SF short-throw projectors to create an immersive storytelling environment for prospective buyers. According to a report by AVNetwork, the system covers three walls and the floor to showcase the lifestyle offered by the Berkeley Group project.
AVNetwork states that Tateside was engaged after previous attempts to configure the space failed to meet requirements. While existing audio gear was retained, the integrator engineered a unified solution featuring edge-blended projection and automated room controls. Jonny Faint, a project manager at Tateside, told AVNetwork that the goal was delivering a fully sequenced environment rather than simply installing hardware.
The setup relies on a Mac Studio running QLab software to coordinate visuals, audio, and automation, AVNetwork reports. An OpenAVC control system links these functions to a touchscreen interface, allowing staff to launch presentations or switch inputs with a single touch. Upon completion of the sequence, the system automatically triggers a concealed door to open via a WebRelay connection. AVNetwork notes that offsite pre-building ensured the system operated flawlessly during an unexpected live visitor test immediately following installation.
