Julius Keilwerth saxophones will mark the occasion of their 100th Anniversary in 2025 with the launch of the 100 Anniversary Limited Edition SX90R Saxophone. Founded in 1925, the Julius Keilwerth brand has been the Instrument of choice for legendary artists such as Dave Liebman, Ernie Watts, James Moody, and Clarence Clemmons, and is renowned for instruments of the highest quality with design innovations such as adjustable palm keys, rolled tone holes, and a G# lifting mechanism.
The 100 Anniversary Model features a nickel silver body with a sandblasted finish, black nickel plated keywork, ebony wood key buttons, removeable “Angel wing” key guards, 2 neck options (standard and ICON included), Anniversary engraving, and an exclusive Anniversary leather embroidered case with accessories. It Is available In Alto and Tenor models and only 100 total units will be made and distributed worldwide.
The official release Is January 6, 2025 and Instruments will be available to see and try at NAMM 2025 In Anaheim, California.
