Origin Effects has announced the arrival of their EQDELUXE Studio Equaliser & Drive, a new offering for bass and guitar players. According to Music Instrument News, the device is a reimagining of the classic Pultec EQP-1a equalizer from the 1950s.
The EQDELUXE is assembled in the United Kingdom and features a durable enclosure constructed from brushed stainless steel. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is set at £349 GBP, while the US price is $449 USD, and the European price is €355.
This new studio equalizer and drive is intended to evoke the sound characteristics of vintage equipment. The release date for the EQDELUXE is scheduled for July 29, 2026.
