Reality television personality Stephen Bear has been sentenced to 16 months in prison for violating a restraining order. Chelmsford Crown Court issued the new term after Bear posted comments about former partner Georgia Harrison between March and July of last year, Digital Spy reported. The Crown Prosecution Service stated he made degrading comments about Harrison and encouraged others to post about her, leading to harassment charges.

This sentencing follows Bear’s 2023 conviction for filming and distributing an intimate video of Harrison without consent, which originally resulted in a 21-month jail term and a five-year restraining order. Upon this latest breach, the court imposed an indefinite restraining order prohibiting further contact with Harrison. Harrison credited Essex Police for treating the case as a serious crime rather than a celebrity story, noting that officers acted when the order was violated instead of shrugging.

Detective Constable Swarv Stafin, who led the investigation, highlighted the severe stress caused by such behavior and urged victims to report incidents regardless of perceived scale. In a separate legal matter, Bear pleaded guilty to five offenses regarding failures to comply with sex offender register notification requirements. These included unauthorized travel to Brazil, failing to report his return to the UK within three days in April 2026, failing to notify police about obtaining a replacement passport abroad, and failing to disclose two new bank cards. He is scheduled to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on August 14 regarding these additional charges.
