Acon Digital announced the arrival of Multiply 2, a plug‑in that comes with a completely refreshed graphical interface and eighty brand‑new factory presets designed to highlight its chorus and widening capabilities.

The software can produce up to six distinct vocal voices from a single input, each voice receiving its own pitch and level modulation. A phase‑randomising filter is applied to every simulated voice, which the company says prevents the metallic comb‑filter artifacts often heard in other chorus tools and creates a convincing impression of several singers performing together.

Wide modulation ranges let users tweak frequency and amplitude controls for subtle motion or more extreme, unstable textures, while a suite of tone‑shaping tools sits alongside the main voice parameters. The plug‑in also includes a five‑band EQ with low‑cut, low‑shelf, mid‑bell, high‑shelf and high‑cut sections, each offering adjustable slopes, and an integrated pre‑delay module that simplifies the creation of modulated echoes as well as classic chorus and widening sounds. Multiply 2 runs on both Windows and macOS, though specific version requirements have not been listed.
