Apogee Electronics and UK distributor Sound Technology is launching HypeMiC, a premium USB microphone promising studio-quality analogue compression.
HypeMiC offers three settings of compression to use on vocals, voice-overs, instruments, percussion, and podcasts through an iPhone or computer.

HypeMiC offers 3 analogue compression settings, all accessible from the front panel control knob:
- Shape it (Low) – The minimal amount of compression, for shaping the vocals and instruments
- Squeeze it (Medium) – For podcasts, interviews and streaming
- Smash it (High) For voice recording for a big broadcast sound
The Apogee HypeMiC will be available from January 2019 at an expected price of £349 RRP inc VAT.
