Shure has introduced Action Isolator, professional audio-processing software designed to isolate key action sounds across up to eight channels in real time.
The software is designed for live sports broadcast applications, helping production teams bring game-defining sounds forward while reducing crowd and ambient noise without removing the energy of the mix.
Action Isolator includes AI/ML-trained modes for basketball, baseball, hockey, commentator audio and general background noise reduction. Shure says the software is optimized for its DCA901 Broadcast Microphone Array and requires Dante Virtual Soundcard and Windows 11.
