ESP Guitars has announced the availability of the company’s first set of digital collectible non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The three NFT designs in this debut series commemorate ESP USA’s recent limited-edition Pyrograph Series guitars. ESP is working in partnership with Fanaply, a leading developer of eco-friendly NFTs in music, sports and entertainment.“Since the start of ESP, our customers have included many musicians who appreciate collecting rare instruments and music memorabilia,” says Matt Masciandaro, president and CEO of the ESP Guitar Company. “The Pyrograph NFTs are perfect for anyone who wants to have verifiable ownership of collectible art that’s based on some of our most intricate guitar designs ever.”
A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unique and non-interchangeable digital asset that uses blockchain technology to establish a verified and public proof of ownership of the asset. The unique identifying codes and built-in authentication for each NFT allow them to offer value as collectable or tradable/salable items.
Limited to 30 pieces available of each design, the Pyrograph NFT Series offers motion artwork derived from ESP USA’s limited-edition Pyrograph Series guitars. The three debut NFTs from ESP commemorate the M-I FR-DLX Skulls & Crows, M-II HARDTAIL Great Wave, and TE-II HARDTAIL Snake Skin guitars. Ideal for creative inspiration in the NFT format, these guitars employ intricate artwork that is painstakingly applied by hand using magnifying lenses and custom pyrography tools by acclaimed artist Dino Muradian.
