Gator Co. has announced the release of new ONYX Series flight cases designed for the Rane One, Rane One MKII and Rane System One DJ controllers. The cases follow the series’ sleek blackout aesthetic, maintaining a professional and modern appearance.
The G-ONYXUD-RANEONE is engineered to provide a secure, customized fit for the Rane One and Rane One MKII DJ controllers. This heavy-duty case features an integrated upper-deck platform with a smooth-gliding laptop shelf, a locking mechanism and two port holes for cable management. A metal lip keeps the laptop in place while on the shelf, while the EVA foam-padded interior helps absorb shock and vibration during transport. A removable front panel allows access to headphone jacks and front controls, enabling operation while the controller remains in the case.
Construction details vary slightly across the new ONYX Series additions based on the equipment they are designed to house. All models feature precision-engineered EVA foam interiors, with the CDJ-3000X case further incorporating removable access panels that allow continued use of the player’s NFC reader while housed in the case. Plywood construction, aluminum valance that helps align the lid to the base, steel ball corners for added impact protection, and heavy-duty hardware are consistent across the collection.
